Fairfax: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division Detectives have announced the arrest of a suspect who was involved in a street robbery.
On March 13, 2023, around 7:10 p.m., the victim was shopping near the area of Fairfax Avenue and Beverly Boulevard. The suspect approached the victim and attempted to take his designer satchel. The suspect punched the victim, took the victim’s satchel, and fled on foot.
Wilshire patrol officers responded, and their investigation lead them to the suspect’s identity and location. Wilshire robbery detectives, responded to the court house, and observed the suspect exiting the building wearing the stolen satchel, containing the victim’s belongings. Detectives arrested and booked 25-year-old Marcellus Moore, a resident of Los Angeles, for 211 PC-Robbery (Booking Number 6568543). His bail was set to $75,000.00.
