Ms. Legaspi began her career with the City of Los Angeles in 2007 as a Management Assistant for the LAPD’s Information Technology Division. In 2008, she then joined the Office of the City Administrative Officer (CAO) where she spent most of her City career. While at the CAO, she was responsible for the development, administration, and oversight of various public safety and public works budgets. Ms. Legaspi also served as the Blue Book Coordinator and primary coordinator of the budget development process in the CAO, and served as lead coordinator for various officewide and Citywide exercises and trainings.
In 2022, she returned to the LAPD as Police Administrator I and serves as the Assistant Commanding Officer of Fiscal Group.
Ms. Legaspi was born in the Philippines, immigrated to the U.S. as young child, and grew up in Los Angeles, California. Ms. Legaspi earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Master in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach. Ms. Legaspi lives in Los Angeles and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
