Officer Involved Traffic Collision

 
Los Angeles- On March 8, 2001 at approximately 8:10 a.m., Motor Officer Timothy Dacus, assigned to West Traffic Division, was eastbound Pico Boulevard at 6th Street when he collided with a 1999 Nissan Quest Mini Van. The van was stopped northbound 6th Street at a posted stop sign. The van then began to enter the intersection of Pico Boulevard, failing to yield to on coming traffic. The officer sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision, and was transported to Midway Hospital.
