Motorcyclist Fatally Shot – NR23700dm

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Bureau Homicide are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for killing a 36-year-old man.

On Sunday, October 1, 2023, around 5:55 p.m., 77th Area patrol officers responded to an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Shots Fired” radio call on Crenshaw Boulevard and 54th Street. When the officers arrived, they located the victim lying in the street, next to his motorcycle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigation determined an unknown vehicle had been travelling alongside the victim on Crenshaw Boulevard before he was shot to death.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description.
