Wanted Violent Sex Offender NR23708ti

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating, John Scott Carver, a mentally disordered violent sex offender that absconded from his state mandated program in the City of Los Angeles.

On October 10, 2023, around 7:30 p.m., John Carver was last seen near Olympic Boulevard and Masselin Avenue.  John cut off his monitoring device and fled towards San Vicente Boulevard and Sierra Bonita Avenue, possibly on foot. John is described as a 71-year-old, male White, with brown/ grey hair and green eyes. He stands five feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

John Carver should be considered armed and dangerous.  The public to remain vigilant.  If you observe John, please call 911 or contact your local law enforcement agency.

John has also used the names of: Scott Carver and Michael Meadows.
