LAPD Statement on Allegations of Misconduct NR23715ne  

 Los Angeles: The LAPD is aware of media reports of alleged off-duty criminal misconduct related to a recreational sports organization involving members of this Department.  Upon receiving a report of the allegations of hazing earlier this year, the Department immediately initiated an investigation into the incident.  The investigation remains ongoing.

Chief Michel Moore stated: “All employees are expected to uphold the same standards of conduct off-duty as on-duty.  Should the investigation reveal any truth to these allegations, those responsible will be held accountable.”
