Panorama City: Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for a shooting that killed a 17-year-old and injured a 16-year-old.
On Sunday, February 11, 2024, around 9:00 p.m., Mission Area patrol officers responded to an “Ambulance Shooting” radio call in the 8300 block of Willis Avenue in Panorama City. When the officers arrived, they determined two victims had gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle.
A 17-year-old male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at a local hospital. The 16-year-old male victim was treated for a gunshot wound to his leg.
There is no suspect information.
