Wednesday, August 4, 1999
On August 4, 1999 at 1:00 a.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred where Miram Sophie Reichstein’s vehicle was south bound on Vanalden Avenue ran off the road in a s/w direction and collided with a power pole. The vehicle then rolled backwards in a n/e direction across the street again and ran off the roadway and collided with a planter and a mailbox. The deceased was the driver of the vehicle and there were no passengers. At this time there are no known witnesses to this traffic collision. The deceased, Miram Sophie Reichstein is a resident of Encino Ca. and her brother in-law Ben Olneick was notified of her death by the coroners office telephonically. The deceased was driving a 1991 Toyota Celica at the time of the collision.
