On August 14, 1999, during early morning hours, an individual vandalized the Knesset Israel Church by writing a hatred message on an exterior wall. The incident occurred days after the Granada Hills Jewish Community Center shootings. Northeast Area Detectives received information from a citizen that assisted them with the identification of a suspect responsible for committing this crime.
