Second Suspect Identified in the Rawling’s Murder Case

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department have identified a second suspect wanted in connection with the February 1999, murder of Woodland Hills resident Christopher Rawlings. Rawlings was killed when he was ejected from the trunk of his Bentley automobile following a pursuit in which two armed robbery suspects forced him into the trunk of his vehicle, then ransacked Rawling’s home. Responding officers arrived at the residence as the suspects were driving away in Rawling’s car. A pursuit ensued which resulted in the suspect’s crashing on Tampa Avenue at Califa Street, killing Rawlings. The two suspects in the car fled on foot and escaped.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 27 year old Pacoima resident Boris George "Booney" Graham, also known as Juba Pattis and Kato Austin. Graham is a male African American, black hair, brown eyes, 5’9, 150 pounds. The warrant charges Graham with eight felony counts including murder with special circumstances and kidnapping. Graham is an ex-convict with a record for robbery and is a Pacoima area gang member.

Previously arrested in this case was Graham’s associate, Kirell Francis Taylor, 23, from Pacoima, who is being held without bail at the Los Angeles County Jail pending trial.
