Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for a shooting that killed a sixty-year-old man.
On March 25, 2024, around 7:20 p.m., West Valley area officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 7500 block of Jamieson Avenue. Officers located the victim on the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s vehicle also had multiple gunshot impacts on the passenger side.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear at this time.
