On Tuesday, October 5,1999, an elderly man walked into Foothill Station complaining of two women that had taken money from him and were asking for several thousand dollars for the purchase of real-estate. Foothill Burglary/Theft Detectives interviewed the potential theft fraud victim and started a fraud theft investigation. Several hours later, two females were taken into custody and detained for Grand Theft and Fraud. This investigation has identified two more grand theft suspects who have used fictitious names and been involved in fraud and theft scams in Sacramento, Long Beach and the San Fernando Valley.
The suspects prey on elderly males and sometimes elderly couples. These four suspects have used various schemes and names as they have committed these crimes.
The suspects are described as four females in the late teens to early twenties and are from Eastern Europe.
Anyone who has been a victim of a Grand Theft Fraud involving these described four female suspects are asked to call Foothill Area Detectives, Burglary/Theft Unit at 818-834-3115.
