WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Division will be hosting the meeting and serving as the master of ceremonies. We would like to give all our partners a couple of minutes to introduce themselves and their office or organization and give a brief overview of what their role in GTA’s, Street Racing, Gangs, and homelessness is.

After introductions, we plan on providing some statistics to the audience, highlighting the efforts we have all put forth together over the past year to achieve. Next, we would like to share plans for the current and upcoming events. Lastly, we plan to open the floor for questions and answers.

Prior events have shown that when a partner office/department/organization is not present, or able to speak on their behalf, critical facts are left out from the answers that our
community member stakeholders receive. We plan on taking questions and providing a unified response rather than a “point-the-finger” approach.

This experience will undoubtedly give the community transparency as we move forward to build a better relationship.
