Detectives Seek to Identify Suspect in Assault of Restaurant Worker NR24160dm

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Area are seeking the community’s help to identify a suspect responsible for an assault of a restaurant employee.

On May 20, 2024, at 1:05 p.m., the suspect was at a restaurant in the 800 block of West 7th street when he became involved in a dispute with restaurant staff due to his food order taking too long to prepare. The suspect was harassing a pregnant female employee, at which point a male employee intervened and advised the suspect to not harass the female employee. The suspect proceeded to confront the male employee and assaulted him, punching the male employee numerous times causing minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a male Black, 25 to 30-years-old, with black hair, brown eyes, and a mustache. He stands six feet tall and weighs 180-200 pounds.
