Robbery Suspects Pose as Customers at Gas Station

The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying the suspects.

On Monday, January 3, 2000, at 6:00 p.m., two suspects entered the Shell Gas Station located in the 8500 block of West Pico Boulevard. Both suspects posed as customers. After other customers left the location, suspect #2 went to the counter to make a purchase. As the employee opened the cash register, suspect #1 produced a gun, pointed it at the employee, and ordered him to give him all of the cash in the register. Both suspects then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Suspect #1 is described as a male Black, black eyes, 5’8" tall, 150 pounds, 19 to 20 years of age. The suspect has a light complexion and wears his hair in braids.

Suspect #2 is described as a male Black, black hair, black eyes, 6’0" to 6’01" tall, 160 to 180 pounds, 19 to 20 years of age. The suspect has a thin build, and has a medium to dark complexion.
