WHY:
September 25th is the National Day of Remembrance for murder victims. The National Day of Remembrance is a day to support families who have lost loved ones in a criminal homicide and/or to gun violence. This commemorative day was established as a result of unanimously passed resolutions by the U.S. Senate on October 16, 2007, and the U.S. House of Representatives on May 14, 2007.
