Police Seeking Publics Assistance Finding Two Missing Juveniles

Los Angeles – On Saturday, February 19, 2000, at approximately 4:00 p.m., juvenile Shonyae King was staying at the residence of a friend Michelle Bias, located on the 1100 block of West. 37th Place. The two juveniles left the residence for the day and never returned.

Later that evening at 9:00 p.m., a family friend saw the two juveniles at an area fast food restaurant.

When the two juveniles failed to return home Theresa Jeter, mother of Michelle Bias, became worried and notified the police.

Shonyae King is a 12 year-old female Black, 5’8", 180 lbs., heavy build, dark complexion, and a ponytail. King was wearing a black and white shirt with black jeans.

Michelle Bias is an 11 year-old female Black, 5’4", 125 lbs., and medium build, with a light complexion. Bias was wearing a white blouse with orange shorts.

The Los Angeles Police Department has established a command post at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, gate #14. Photographs of the two missing juveniles are available for review at the command post.
