Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.
On October 15, 2024, around 12:25 a.m., North Hollywood area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the area of Hatteras Street and Tujunga Avenue. When officers arrived, they located one victim down at the location suffering from a gunshot wound. The Los Angeles Fire Department’s paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The victim has not been identified at this time and is described as a 40-year-old male Hispanic. There is no suspect information.
Detectives from Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations-Valley Bureau Homicide responded to the scene and are handling the investigation.
