"Traffic Fatality of an 80 Year Old Victim"

Panorama City: On Friday, September 1, 2000, at approximately 11:25 a.m., a Traffic Collision occurred involving a Vehicle vs. Pedestrian, in the 8400 block of Stansbury Avenue. The victim of this incident, an 80 year-old, female, was attempting to stop her vehicle from rolling out of the driveway of her residence. The movement of the vehicle caused the victim to fall to the ground. The vehicle then continued in a reverse direction and collided with the victim. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver’s identity has not yet been released, as the next of kin has not been notified.

This traffic collision is being investigated by detectives from Valley Traffic Division 818-756-8381.
