Los Angeles: On Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Southeast Area Patrol Officers responded to a call of an assault investigation at 108th Street and Figueroa Street. The officers responded to an upstairs apartment unit and discovered the victim, Tynisha Ysais, 21 years old, apparently deceased.
On Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Southeast Area Patrol Officers responded to a call of an assault investigation at 108 Street and Figueroa Street. The officers responded to an upstairs apartment unit and discovered the victim, Tynisha Ysais, 21 years old, apparently deceased.
Additional officers responded quickly to the scene and were able to apprehend Antron Singleton, 27 years old, a few blocks away from the crime scene. He is said to reside in the same apartment as the victim. He was subsequently arrested for the murder of Ms Ysais.
The motive is unknown at this time and the cause of death is pending investigation by the Los Angeles County Coroners Office.
