Off-Duty Officer Saves a Child’s Life

WHAT: LAPD Metropolitan Division, Officer Carlos Flores will be recognized for saving the life of a young child.

WHY: Officer Flores was working an off-duty-uniformed detail at Dodger Stadium when he responded to where a four-year old child was choking. Officer Flores, who is a trained EMT, rendered aid and successfully saved the life of the young girl.
