On September 22, 2024, Governor Newsom signed California Assembly Bill (AB) 2546, amending Government Code Section 7070 established by AB 481 in 2021. The amendment in Government Section Code 7070 changed the definition of “military equipment”. After several years of reporting pursuant to AB 481, the Department determined a need to update the AB 481 policy and form.
