Detectives need help identifying a Homicide suspect of Sun Valley Teen

Why:
On 2, 2008, at around 9:15 p.m., the victim, 16-year-old Edward Satterstron was walking with a friend in the area of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Roscoe Boulevard when he was confronted by the suspect. The suspect pulled out a handgun and fired several shots at the Satterstron. The victim was shot several times in the chest, but managed to run to the nearby Taco Bell.

Satterstron was transported to a local hospital were he died.

Witness described the suspect as a male Hispanec, late teens to early 20’s, with slicked black hair, wearing a black shirt and gray pants.

LAPD North Hollywood Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the Suspect whose photo is on display. The Suspcet’s photos will also be available upon request at LAPD Media Relations Section.
