Los Angeles:   The Los Angeles Police Department Newton detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the suspects responsible for gunning down 44-year-old Roderick Brumfield.
                                                                                                 
On Tuesday, March 1, 2010, around 10:20 p.m., Newton Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance Shooting” at the 5300 block of South Broadway.  When officers arrived they were directed to an upstairs apartment where they found victim Brumfield suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and pronounced Brumfield dead at the scene.

The suspects are described as male Blacks who ran on foot from the location with no further description.  It is unclear if this incident is gang related.
