Homeless Man Stabbed to Death Detectives Looking for Clues and Witnesses NR11602rf

Los Angeles:  LAPD Northeast Division homicide detectives are investigating the death of a homeless man who was brutally stabbed to death.

Early this morning just before 1 a.m., officers in Highland Park were dispatched to the 5800 block of North Figueroa Street where a man who appeared to be homeless had been stabbed. A security guard on routine patrol had discovered the victim and immediately called an ambulance.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead. At this time, detectives haven’t determined a motive for the killing, and the victim’s identity is being withheld until family members are notified.
