Los Angeles: On October 18, 2012, the Los Angeles Police Department will post 42 photos of women that were recovered while in possession of a serial murder suspect, dubbed in the media as the “Grim Sleeper.”

The photographs were taken between the years of 1976 and 2010.  These women have yet to be identified, and the Department is asking for the public’s help. If anyone recognizes any of the women in the photographs, Facebook or Twitter may be used to make a positive identification.

Detective Dennis Kilcoyne, lead investigator in the Grim Sleeper case, will be available for media interviews at LAPD Headquarters, 100 W. 1st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012, on October 19 from 10a.m. to 12p.m.  Please contact LAPD Media Relations at 213-486-5910 to schedule an interview.
