DETAILS:   
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 39 police officers, with 31 males and eight females.  The ethnic breakdown of the graduates is as follows: 10 Caucasians, 19 Hispanics, four Asians (two Korean), one Filipino and five African Americans.  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
