Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department Rampart Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) who fatally shot 25-year-old Andres Ordonez and injured another.

On Sunday, November 4, 2012, at around 6:20 p.m., Rampart Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance Shots Fired” at Beverly Boulevard and Reno Street.  When the officers arrived they found two people shot.  Both victims were transported to a local hospital.  Ordonez, was pronounced dead, the second victim was treated for a gunshot wound and is in stable condition.

The investigation revealed that both victims were attending services at the church located in the 3000 block of West Beverly Boulevard when they saw the suspect, a Hispanic female, spray painting the wall of the church.  Both victims approached the suspect in an effort to get her to stop spray painting.  During the exchange of words a second suspect exited a stopped vehicle and fired multiple shots at both victims, striking them.  Both suspects re-entered the waiting vehicle and drove away from the scene.  It is believed that the involved suspects have gang affiliations.
