25 Years Later: Woman Still Missing NR14468jr

Los Angeles: The family of Maria Gabriela Medina and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating a 44-year-old woman who has been missing for over 25 years.

On March 4, 1989, Medina was last seen in the area of 6th Street and Los Angeles Street in downtown Los Angeles.  Medina is described as a Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes.  At the time and date she was reported missing, she was 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighed approximately 115 pounds.  With the assistance of a police sketch artist, an age progression rendering was completed to portray what Maria Gabriela Medina may look like today.  After 25 years, the family members of Ms. Medina have continued their efforts to locate their sister and daughter and are seeking the public’s assistance to bring her home.
