Man Assaulted in Northeast Area NR15890aj

Los Angeles: Detectives from the
Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Division are asking for
the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for
the assault of a male.

On Monday, October 26, 2015, around 4:50 p.m., a male victim was
involved in a verbal dispute with a male suspect inside a
restaurant in the 4900 block of Sunset Boulevard. The suspect
punched the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground. The
suspect then stabbed the victim with an unknown object.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and
transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim is in stable
condition.

The suspect is described as an African American male, approximately
18-years old with black hair and brown eyes. He stands
approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 150 lbs. The suspect was
wearing a white T-shirt, brown shorts, and orange tennis
shoes.

Detectives are releasing the security video of the attack in hopes
that someone may have information which would assist in solving
this crime.
