Felony Hit and Run Traffic Collision NR19301ml

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police
Department’s Central Traffic Division (CTD) detectives are asking
for the public’s help in locating the alleged driver involved in a
felony hit and run traffic collision that left the victim, a
27-year-old male, with fractures to his ribs and injuries to his
knee and hands.

On November 2, 2019, around 11:00 pm, the victim was crossing the
street in a marked crosswalk at Grand Avenue and 9th Street when he
was struck by the suspect’s vehicle, a dark 4-door sedan, traveling
southbound Grand Avenue crossing 9th Street.

On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles
Administrative Code and created a Hit and Run Reward Program Trust
Fund. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members
who provide information leading to the offender’s identification,
apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil
compromise.
