Why: A joint press conference where community stakeholders, faith leaders, and community leaders call on our communities for emotional temperance in any possible demonstrations that may take place in relation to the trial for the death of George Floyd. The Los Angeles Police Department will always encourage, support, and protect the community’s first amendment rights and are calling on our community to exercise those rights in peace.

*LAPD public information officers will be present to ensure COVID-19 protocols are followed. All attendees must wear a mask and social distance.
