Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Topanga Division are seeking additional victims of a robbery suspect, arrested on February 1, 2017.

LAPD Topanga Division detectives arrested Carter Nathan Singer for the robbery of three separate victims. Singer met the victims via online sales mobile phone applications, where he posed as a customer. The victims all believed Singer was interested in purchasing items of jewelry. Instead, Singer robbed each of the victims of their property. In two of the robberies, Singer sprayed the victims in the face with pepper spray.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has since reviewed the case and charged Singer with multiple felony counts of 211 PC – Robbery. Singer is currently in custody and being held on $180,000 bail. The Los Angeles Police Department believes there are additional victims who have yet to be identified, due primarily to the numerous people Singer contacted online prior to his arrest.
