Human Body Parts Found

Sylmar – On Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Foothill Area officers responded to a call regarding a possible dead body, at 15065 Roxford Street in Sylmar.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers were met by the person who placed the call who directed them to the roadway near the curb in the 15000 block of Roxford Street. The officers determined there were in fact two severed human feet lying near a plastic trash bag. Officers secured the location and contacted Foothill Homicide Detectives.
Foothill Homicide Detectives began searching the immediate area and located additional body parts in close proximity. The investigation is on going and no identification of the victim has been made at this time.
