Composite Drawing of Robbery Suspect Released

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department, Foothill Division, is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who committed a robbery on February 5, 2001, at 2:00 p.m., at San Fernando Road and La Rue St, in Pacoima. On that date, a male suspect entered the place of business where the female victim works, and demanded money. The suspect physically assaulted the victims repeatedly, a woman and her thirteen year-old son, during the commission of the crime. After taking the money, the suspect tied up the victims and fled the location in a car.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, with short black hair, approximately 5’09", 150 pounds, and in his mid 20’s. He has a necklace style tattoo depicting old English letters on his upper chest that stretches from shoulder to shoulder. A composite drawing of the suspect has been prepared (see page 2 this Press Release) to assist in his identification.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a possible 1982 Olds Cutlass, in poor condition, with light blue or gray paint and primer.
