Public’s Help Needed to Locate Dangerous Sex Offender NR11010df

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) are asking for the public’s help in locating a 49-year-old John Howard Marble, a parolee at large.  He is considered extremely dangerous and frequently appeared in the area of Van Nuys Boulevard, also known as Van Nuys corridor.

On Tuesday, January 4th, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., CDCR agents received a VeriTracks notification on Marble, a registered child sex offender. A VeriTracks notification is received when a parolee’s GPS monitoring device has been removed or tampered with.  Parole agents responded to the 10900 block of Sutter Avenue in Pacoima and discovered the parolee’s cut GPS monitor device underneath his bed.

Marble is described as a White man with blonde hair and blue eyes.  He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds, with a close shaved goatee.
