Los Angeles: On Friday, March 12, 2004 at approximately 1:26 p.m., Hollenbeck Patrol Officers responded to a radio call regarding shots fired at 2823 East 4th Street. Upon arrival the officers found a victim of gunshot wounds to the upper chest area in the driveway. A second victim was found at the rear of the location with gunshot wounds to the upper torso and both legs. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the location to provide emergency treatment to the victims. The victim at the rear of the location died at the scene, the victim in the driveway was transported to USC Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
There is no suspect description, however, witnesses stated the suspect(s) were seen leaving eastbound on 4th Street in a 1995-1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a partial license number of 4 TH—.
The victims have been identified as Salvador Vejerano, 28 years of age and Victor Gudino, 22 years of age, both residents of Los Angeles.
