Robbery Suspect Hits Same Store Twice During Christmas Time NR17014lp

Police Department, Hollywood Area Robbery detectives are asking for
the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to
the arrest of the suspect who committed two robberies in the
Hollywood Area.

On December 25, 2016 the suspect went into a business located in
the 5400 block of Hollywood Boulevard. The suspect asked the
employee to change a $5 bill. When the employee opened the cash
drawer the suspect reached into it and began taking the money. The
employee and the suspect struggled over the cash drawer and the
suspect shoved the employee out of the way.

On December 27, 2016 around midnight, the suspect returned to the
same business and shoved another employee to the side and took more
cash from the location.

The suspect is believed to live in the area and was seen wearing
the same outfit during the commission of both robberies.

The suspect is described as an Asia male with black hair and brown
eyes. He is in his mid 20s, is approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall,
weighs approximately 170-190 lbs. He was seen wearing a black
baseball cap with red bill, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans,
multiple chain necklaces, and a gray backpack.
