Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Robbery-Homicide Division, Robbery Special Section are asking for the public’s help for information leading to the identification and arrest of a suspect.

On May 11, 2010, Robbery-Homicide Division, Robbery Special Section, assumed the investigative responsibility for a series of robberies that occurred in the City of Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley area.  As of today’s date there have been 15 robberies in which, 14 were committed at 7-Eleven mini-markets and one at an AM/PM market.  All the robberies occurred between the hours of 3 a.m. to 5:45 a.m.  

The suspect is described as a Male Hispanic, between 21-25 years of age, with black and brown eyes.  He stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 200-210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black/red Cincinnati baseball cap, gray or dark hooded sweatshirt and used a blue steel semi-automatic handgun.  Suspect posed as a customer by asking for a pack of cigarettes.  This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
