Local Teacher Arrested for Child Porn

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles police have arrested a music teacher from Foshay Learning Center for possession of child pornography.

On June 4, 2008, at 7 p.m., detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Internet Crimes against Children Unit and the Los Angeles School Police Department (LASPD) arrested 27-year-old Lief Albaugh at an apartment complex in the 1200 block of West 37th Drive in South Los Angeles after they discovered child pornography on his laptop computer.  

A search warrant was executed at Albaugh’s home and his computer was seized, authorities said.

On June 5, 2008, investigators presented the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing.  Albaugh was charged with one count of possession of child pornography and his bail was set at $20,000.  He will be arraigned on June 26, 2008.
