born in Medford, Massachusetts, and raised in Southern

He graduated from the Union Institute and University of California
in 2015, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal

In 1988, Captain Stabile was hired by the Los Angeles Police
Department. As a Police Officer he worked diverse assignments in
Central, South and West Bureaus that included: Patrol, Gangs,
Special Enforcement and as a Field Training Officer.

In 1996, Captain Stabile was promoted to Sergeant and subsequently
worked as a Field Supervisor at Central, Southwest and Rampart
Areas. In 2010, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and was
assigned to Northeast and Newton Areas as a Watch Commander. In
2012, he was upgraded to a Lieutenant II and was assigned to create
a Special Events Unit within Operations-Central Bureau (OCB). While
assigned to the OCB Special Events Unit, Captain Stabile was
responsible for analyzing special events' permits concerning a
wide-range of events. These permits included: Large-scale award
shows, immigration rights' marches and rallies, anti-police
protests, sporting events, protests and anti-war

In 2016, Captain Stabile was promoted to Captain and was assigned
to Northeast Patrol Division and to Hollenbeck Area as the Patrol
Division Commanding Officer.

In March 2017, Captain Stabile was promoted to Assistant Commanding
Officer of Metropolitan Division. He remained in that position
until May of 2019 when returned to Hollenbeck Area as the Area
Commanding Officer and in July 2019, he promoted to Captain III and
remained in Hollenbeck Area.
