Rememberance
Officer Beyea was shot and killed by a suspect he was chasing. During the foot pursuit the suspect turned and shot him. The suspect was shot and killed by other officers several hours later.
Officer Beyea had served with the Department for 9 months. He was survived by his parents and sister.
