Top Ten Most Wanted Gang Member Arrested NR10112rh

March 8, 2010

Los Angeles: An anonymous tip leads Los Angeles Police Department investigators on a ten-hour search which resulted in the capture of 27-year-old Brandon Daniels, a Los Angeles top ten most wanted fugitive.

In the afternoon hours of Friday, March 5, 2010, an anonymous caller provided Wilshire homicide detectives with a small but important clue in their attempt to capture murder suspect Brandon Daniels.  Daniels had been implicated in the botched robbery and murder of Noe Gonzalez, an unarmed marijuana clinic security guard in October 2008.

Detectives developed the clue and responded to multiple locations over a period of ten hours.  At around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Detectives found Daniels at a residence in the City of Inglewood.  Daniels was captured without further incident and booked at Wilshire Jail on an outstanding murder warrant.  Daniels is being held without bail.

Daniels is the last of four adult suspects to be arrested for murder in this case.  All of the following suspects are residents of Los Angeles and are held without bail at the Los Angeles County Jail.
