Mission Area Detectives have identified the suspect as 24 year-old
David Trujillo of Sylmar. Trujillo was booked on Saturday, December

Los Angeles: Los Angeles police need help in finding a
sexual predator who inappropriately touched a young teen and
attempted to kidnap a 4-year-old girl in North Hills on December
14, 2007.

At around 7:45 p.m., a 17-year-old teen was walking to a nearby
store at the corner of Rayen Street and Langdon Avenue, when a man
approached her from the front and rubbed her thigh. The man smiled
at the teen and walked away, authorities said.

An hour later, the same suspect entered an apartment complex
courtyard located in the 15500 block of Rayen Street, and began
casing a group of children that were playing. After spotting the
property security guard, he walked away. Once the security guard
was out of sight, the suspect walked back towards the children, and
grabbed a 4-year-old girl who was sitting on the ground playing. A
young boy recognized the young girl being whisked away and ran
after the suspect. The suspect put the child down and casually
walked away.

The
suspect was described as Latino, 30-35 years of age, 5-foot-7
inches tall and weighs between 140 and 180 pounds. He had a faded
scar on his left cheek. He was last seen wearing a black beanie,
with an Oakland Raiders logo on the front, long sleeve thermal
shirt, dark pants, and white shoes.

Detectives believe that the same suspect was involved in two prior
sexual assaults that took place in the same vicinity.

Police are urging women not to walk alone in the area and to call
the police if they see anyone suspicious.
