The Good Shepherd Shelter provides victims of domestic violence a safe, nurturing environment in which mothers and their children can heal, reawaken their dignity, self-confidence, and learn the skills that will help them stop the cycle of domestic violence.

Domestic violence affects all cultures, socio-economic levels, educational levels and age groups.  One-quarter to one-third of women have been affected by domestic violence.  Officers will be interacting with the mothers and ensured they have a fun and stress free time to while selecting gifts for their children.

Santa Claus will be present in his “black and white” sleigh loaded with gifts and escorted by his police motorcycle reindeer.
