13-Year-Old Critical Missing Juvenile NR18041ml

February 7, 2018

North Hills: The family of Angelina Lopez and the Los Angeles
Police Department’s Mission Area Juvenile Detectives are asking for
the public’s help in locating 13-year-old, Angelina Jade
Lopez.

On February 5, 2018, at about 9:30 p.m., Angelina was last seen in
her residence in the 8900 block of Burnet Avenue in North
Hills.

On February 6, 2018, at about 7 a.m., Angelina’s mother left the
residence to go to work, believing Angelina was in bed sleeping.
Angelina’s mother received some text messages from Angelina during
the day, including one regarding a scheduled doctor appointment
that afternoon.

Angelina’s mother returned to her residence about 1 p.m., to pick
up Angelina, however Angelina was not home. Angelina’s mother
contacted a few of her daughters’ friends, but none had seen
Angelina. Angelina’s mother discovered a note she believed was
written by Angelina, that indicated she is depressed and might harm
herself.

Angelina is described as a 13-year-old, female Hispanic, with long
black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, 200
pounds, light complexion. Angelina is known to frequent the area of
Rayen Street and Memory Park Avenue, in the City of North
Hills.
