On January 13, 1987, the suspect had an argument with the victim at the victim’s business in Wilmington, where the victim was repairing the suspect’s vehicle. During the argument, the suspect drew a handgun and shot the victim to death. The suspect has friends and relatives living in Long Beach, Lakewood, a and Hawaiian Gardens areas of Los Angeles County. He also has relatives in Sinaloa, Mexico.
