On Thursday afternoon, February 26, 2004, at approximately 12:55 p.m., the victim was standing on the sidewalk in the 600 block of West 81st Street. Suspects drove up to the location and shot multiple times towards the victim. The suspects then fled westbound 81st Street. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was transported to MLK Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
