Suspect befriends Hispanic families with young to teenage children. He volunteers to do handyman work for those families; suspect has also been known to videotape and/or photograph events pertaining to the children (communion, baptism, birthday parties, etc).
Suspect persuades families to let him rent a room in their home. Suspect over time becomes, or is referred to, as the children’s godfather. Suspect manages to create a situation where he is alone with the children, often within the home, then overtime he repeatedly sexually assaults them. Suspect has recently been know to sexually assault children regardless of location.
Suspect then begins a routine of following the children to and from school, surreptitiously watching where they go and whom they go with. Suspect eventually informs those children that he has been watching them.
Suspect was last seen in the Pacoima area, within proximity to several of the neighborhood schools. A witness has stated that the suspect may have fled to Mexico. Suspect is believed to have ties to the Stat of Michoacan, Mexico.
Suspect has no known accomplices.
