On August 21, 2003 at 3:30 pm, a male suspect confronted a lone female at her vehicle in the parking lot of a grocery store in the 12000 block of Wilshire Blvd. The suspect forced his way into her vehicle and sexually assaulted her. The victim was able to escape and run into the grocery store. The suspect drove the victim’s vehicle out of the parking lot and crashed it several blocks away. The suspect fled on foot into the surrounding area.
